LEZ are very proud to share Ilona McIlwain’s directing debut. The film, commissioned by the Tate Modern in partnership with BMW, features a unique performance by 72 year old Japanese actor and performer Min Tanaka. The setting, an incredible fog sculpture by Fujiko Nakaya, provides an eerie and surreal setting for a mesmerising performance. Complimented by sound from world renowned Ryuichi Sakamoto who scored The Revenant and Ghost in the Shell and lighting by Shiro Takatani from Japanese art collective Dumb Type.
