The Kitchen
The Kitchen's diversely talented, and classically trained team, including Chervelle Fryer - one of Jelly London's 'Futures' illustrators - worked collaboratively with Specsavers’ creative, to reimagine this classic fairy-tale of damsel in distress and knight in shining armour, for this Specsavers commercial. The nostalgic, handmade feel to it was achieved by 2D cel animation, with the majority of the ad animated by hand and the remaining scenes created in after effects. The team were also able to use 3D to bring other aspects of the ad to life to give them more depth.
