The video for Deep Water is a very personal one. I wanted to create something that touched on the very real, very visceral challenges of the human condition: depression, repression, anxiety… it's easy for these experiences to feel insurmountable. People want to be seen for their worth, and they desperately seek connection with one another. I wanted to bring these sentiments to the film by choreographing dance and camera sequences that communicate these all-too-familiar feelings of isolation and desire. In the end, this video is a celebration of solidarity and support, which I think humanity deserves a little more of these days.
